Liked the piece about roadkill. Forming a burial group is actually a good idea, and gives closure. Many people are bothered by roadkill. I don’t know how to control or eliminate it, but I think burials are better than treating animal remains as garbage or a nuisance. Taking some personal responsibility feels good. It feels like the right thing to do. What do you think? So what if, once a month, you drove around your neighborhood, scooped up a few road-critters and buried them at the side of the road and recited the poem All Creatures Great and Small, or sang Bless the Beasts and the Children?
